Karen appears at the beginning of the first movie in a flashback but not during the film afterwards, due te being killed 10 years prior to the main events. She is Craig's girlfriend.

Karen appeared after Craig's birthday party when he and she snuck back into the rollerdome sometime later when it was closed. She and Craig were goofing around and decided to begin to skate around the rink when she went into a darker area in the rollerdome.
When she didn't reappear, Craig went to investigate just in time to find her dead body.

- Karen is the first known victim of the entire series. But she techniqually would be the 5th as four other bodies had been found after the police showed up to arrest Rotter.
- Karen is also the only known victim of the series to have an unknown death.
