Ted Bell is a character in Part 2 and the first death of the movie. He is the father of Alex Bell and second husband of Carolyn Bell.

Ted is in his car when a strange man approaches to ask him for help as he is having car problems. He offers to help the man and gets out to take a look. While doing so, the strange man explains that he came to this town to see his daughter and came back for her. As Ted begins to realize nothing is wrong the man claims Ted would never still his daughter away and quickly makes work of him by yanking him in the back of his car and then finishing him off.
Near the end of the film it is revealed that Charlie proceeded to decapitate him, then wrap the head in a bag which he gives as a "present" to Skye.

Ted is a very common, plain, and perhaps by the series standards, boring man. He seems passive for most part and genuinely kind, having accepted Skye right away.
His generous nature may have been his cause of his death unfortunately.
